Atom 2 Bundle

I'm happy and impressed with this amp. My headphones sound better through the amp than through through the headpone output of my Marantz NA-11S1.

With help from ChatGPT, I found the JDS Atom Amp 2 and was able to get a very good headphone amp for less than any place else. I currently have my VSX Immersion Ones plugged into it and it has plenty of power to drive these spectacular headphones. When it gets close on power, I can hit the Gain button and quadruple the power, so I'll not be needing anything more any time soon.

I had orginally purchased the smsl su1 to hook up my smart tv to my vintage Yamaha CR820 amp. It did the job fine until it didn't. After only 7 months of not a ton of use it started to have a dead static type noise outputting to the speakers I had zero support since it was off Amazon other than basic troubleshooting which I did. Never buying audio equipment like this off then again. I did some research and came to the conclusion this Atom dac 2 would fit the bill and wow has it ever lived up to the reviews I read. It has more power and a much cleaner sound than the smsl su1. The cherry on top is the custom engraving looks amazing! I also had it shipped to me in Canada which only took a few short days. Great product from a great company. I also like that I have a warranty with this one. Can't wait to enjoy this for years.

I'm very happy with this sweet headphone amp. Easy to set up, easy to use, works great. Love the form factor and build quality. Paired with my nice new planar dynamic headphones, it sounds great. 5/5

My Sennheiser HD600 and HiFiMan Ananda Nano headphones were already playing loud and sounding good on my existing equipment. I could not understand how adding a headphone amplifier would improve on the sound at all. Well, I was wrong. Using the Atom Amp 2, the results were completely unexpected. The sound just seemed to 'open out', the bass was better defined and a new clarity was evident from the beginning. I cannot recommend this product enough. Build quality, sound quality - it's all here at a very reasonable price too. Superb!

After discovering an issue with my decade-old FiiO E9 amplifier's 3.5mm line-in jack (cracked solder joint, resulting in loss of right channel), I looked for a replacement. After hours of search, it was Google Gemini that convinced me to consider JDS Labs' Atom Amp 2 (initially I was thinking about Topping L30 II), and it provided me reviews on JDS Labs' prompt customer service and posts commenting on the quality of its products. After working out the details with Gemini, I purchased Atom Amp 2 with ease (I was very used to Amazon's purchasing and return policy, and it took some leap of faith to purchase directly from JDS Labs' website), and JDS Labs' customer support was very helpful to send me extra rubber legs, so I can easily stack it above the Focusrite 2i2. Afterwards, Gemini and I came up with a playlist to test the headphone, and it is a noticeable upgrade that some low volume conversations, ambient sound details no longer fade out like in the past, and now I get a "seamless transition" feeling. I am happy with the purchase, and it enhanced my experience with my headphone.

This is the second time I have selected & ordered a JDS Labs product from the US. I was already a happy owner of the original JDS Labs Atom and the switch. The support and advice has been prompt and helpful and contributed greatly to my decision in purchasing a product with no local dealership. The new amplifier has proved to be just as transparent and with higher power and gets on with its job - that is exactly what I need.

Fiio and fosi have terrible drivers and sleep issues, this just works with no need to install anything. Also JDS labs has really good customer service, answered my questions within 15 mins

Decided to match the JDS Dac2 and Synapse Max and get the atom amp 2, and the sound is literally as perfect as I could ever imagine. Zero complaints. In High Gain has enormous room to fully critically damp and control voltage swings across the impedance of HD650 (300-500ohms); plenty of power. Everything sounds crystal clear, articulated, and completely neutral. Honestly it sounds so good and crisp! The mid bass is very controlled and vocals sound effortless. I realistically cant imagine any real benefit from upgrading further besides if you happen to like a different presentation of headphones. Amp does physically (temperature-wise) run a bit warm.
